Tim Whalen is the husband of one wife Tracie for 33 years, father of 4: Jordan 31 (Jennie), Jessica 26, Ethan 13, and Evan 11. Tim has an electrical engineering background after graduating from DeVry in Lombard, IL. He has worked in Engineering and the field of Automation his whole career. Tim grew up in Freeport, IL. He moved out of the area in 2006. In his time away from Illinois, Tim and his family lived near the Creation Museum in Kentucky for 9 years. They moved back to Freeport in 2020 to take care of family concerns. The folks Tim met and worked with at Answers in Genesis (AIG) helped him see how Evolution targeted the foundations of God’s Word. God used AIG to start the process in Tim which was amplified and has grown through Institute for Creation Research and many others. Tim is hopeful to make a positive impact on the ministry of MCF and encourage its members to expand the reach of the ministry significantly, Lord willing! He believes the idea of Evolution (He doesn’t think it qualifies as a scientific theory) is one of the worst things to ever happen in the history of the world. Tim’s goal is, “to show people the fallacy of this idea hoping  that people will see how the foundation of Genesis leads to our need for the Salvation that is found only in Jesus Christ our Savior!”
