Lainna and D.R. Callentine

Lainna Callentine is a pediatrician, homeschool mother, and former classroom teacher with a certification in elementary education. She is a former 5th grade classroom teacher with a master’s degree in education. She completed her M.D. at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and trained at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL. She continues to have wonderment for the beauty of God's creation in the human body. She left formal medicine in the E.R. to stay home and homeschool her three children. However, she still practices her hobby of medicine at a Christian Clinic in the Chicago suburbs.

Donald R. is an electrical engineer. He completed his Master’s in Computer Engineering at Syracuse University as a General Electrical Aerospace Engineer Scholar.

Both Donald and Lainna (Dr. Callentine) received their bachelors’ degrees from Northwestern University where both were also full scholarship athletes: D.R.played football and Lainna played basketball while pursuing their degrees.
